The Claimant is the Owner of 9 Cottages in Cotton Mill Walk which were flooded to the depth of about 8 feet - Some of the Tenants were washed destitute - It was a long work of great labour to get the cellars clean of mud and water. Some injury was done to the fabric for which no charge is made. Some of the Houses are still uninhabited and very damp. |
