    Before the Flood my takings per week up to 13th March 1864 was £50 on an Average, since that time my takings only average about £30 weekly, so that my loss will be about 30/ per week 34 weeks @ 30/ £51      
    To further loss likely to be sustained by me in Consequence of the Ball Street Bridge not been restored at once ~ Say 26 weeks @ 30/ £39      
    Many of my Customers from Malin Bridge, Hillsbro', Owlerton and Neepsend having left, some washed away by the Flood and others removed to other parts of the Town        
    8 Men, 4 days, Cleaning away Rubbish from the Yard, Stable, Slaughter House and all the Back Premises, House, Shop Cellars Out Kitchen, Cellar Whitewashing etc. etc. £10
