    Damages to Freehold Property Near Brown Cow Public House Bridgehouses Comprising Slaughter House Cla…ing [?] House Stable Corn houses, and Hay Chambers and Dwelling House and Privies in the Occupation of William Carr and his Servants. The Slaughter House and Cla...ing [?] House were Occupied by Mr Carr himself. Stable and Corn house Shed etc. were Occupied by William Heupson at a Yearly Rental of 20£ and they are now Occupied byJohn Ostcliffe at the same rental. The House was Occupied by William Heupson but it has been divided with two Cottages (as it used to be) John Ostcliffe is the Occupier of them both.

    From the Slaughter House etc, there was lost a quantity of Hay and Straw. A Barrow. A lot of Suet. Some Chains & other miscellaneous Articles worth £5 10s    
    The Slaughter House Adjoined the River & was washed down        
    The Slaughter House was not used by reason of the flood for about 2 Months and in respect of Mr Carr has sustained damage to the amount of £5 £5      
    For the other part of the Premises Mr Carr lost a Quarters Rent viz £5 £5      
    To Cost of Painting the above Premises £2 15s    
    To Interest (6 Per Cent) from 12th March to 29th July. 1 Year & 139 days £11 9s
