The dampness of the Houses, and the feeling of apprehension still entertained, have hitherto prevented me obtaining Tenants for the other Houses. I am told and believe, that the Property has permanently depreciated in Value. It cost me £640, and I believe I could not now get £440 for it. |

During the time the Property was being cleaned and repaired I was on the premises every working day, for 6 Weeks, during the whole of the day, and with spade and broom assisted in the work, in order to make the houses tenantable as soon as possible, and I am confident that my constant supervision of the Workmen has materially lessened the expense of the Water Works Company. ~ For the depreciation of the property, loss of Tenants, loss of my time, and interest on money paid, I claim only |
