  Nature of Claimant’s Interest   Particulars of Claim Amount of Damages Claimed  
  The claim is made in respect of Injury to the Property specified of which the Claimants are Owners & is exclusive of any claim which any other person may have in consequence of any stoppage of or interference with the Waterway under the Bridge or otherwise.   In the Township of Sheffield and Brightside Bierlow.        
    For damage to and in part destruction of Norfolk Bridge across the River Dun and the foundations and abutments thereof, and the Approaches to the same £2000      
    Note, It is not possible to ascertain at present the extent of damage done to the foundations & abutments of the Bridge nor, consequently the extent of outlay required for the proper restoration of the Bridge.        
    The Claimants are quite prepared to enter into an arrangement, at the cost of the company, for reducing the above claim to the sum which shall be ultimately paid by them for the restoration of the Bridge and its approaches, architect's commission, and other usual expenses.
