  Claimant is Lessee under Montague George Burgoyne Esquire for 21 Years and also Occupier of the Old Park Mills, Lands, Dams, Banks Goits, Dwellinghouses Buildings and Premises within the Parish of Sheffield and is as such Lessee under Covenant to maintain and keep the whole of the said demised Premises in repair and so to deliver up the same He is liable as Lessee as between himself the said M George Burgoyne to make good all destruction of or damage to the said desimed premises ~ The greater part of the Machinery and Apparatus in the said Mills of the time of the Flood ~ belonged to the Claimant absolutely and he was also possessed of much other valuable property in and upon the said Premises (which were in his own occupation and possession at the time of the Inundation) mentioned or referred to in the annexed Schedule.   To Damages sustained by the Claimant by reason of the Inundation by the loss and destruction of and injury to the said Old Park Rolling Mills, Dwellinghouses, Gardens Lands, Buildings, Dams, Goits, Premises, and Appurtenances, held by him as aforesaid and by the loss and destruction of and injury to his Property in and upon the said Premises and costs incurred by him up to date of this Claim towards repairing and making good the same and consequential Damages sustained by the Claimant by reason of the said Inundation and the Matters aforesaid as mentioned in the Schedule here~unto annexed and therein partic~ularized which Damages ~ and ~ Costs the Claimant seeks to recover from the Sheffield Water Works ~ Company amounting together to the sum of. £1932 5s 9d
