The Claimant is the Owner in fee of 12 Dwellinghouses Outbuildings and Land at Neepsend which were inundated by the flood to extent of two Stories in height; the Ground floor Rooms and Bedrooms were covered with Mud the Buildings were much damaged. All the Tenants were driven away. The Claimant has not since been able to relet the property and by reason of the Inundation and the injuries consequent thereupon the Claimant has sustained Damage as shewn by the annexed Schedules of Particulars which he seeks to recover from the Water Works Company amounting to |
